Mt. McKinley Animal Hospital is a thriving fast-paced general small animal practice located in the beautiful Fairbanks, Alaska, and more specifically the North Star Borough. We’re unique within the veterinary medicine industry in that we partner with other local hospitals in the borough to be able to provide the pet owners of this community with the support and care they deserve.

We are always looking for talented and compassionate people to join our team! Our team includes Doctors of Veterinary Medicine, hospital manager, inventory manager and support staff such as veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, housekeeping, customer service representatives and receptionists.

Our doctors are progressive, always striving to learn new techniques; Embracing new thoughts and ideas. While each doctor brings different strengths to the team, we are collectively empathetic and have the patients’ best interests in front of all decisions.

At Mt. McKinley, we love to grow the passion of each of our doctors – every doctor here has a unique medical interest that they pursue. Even with these individual passions, our doctors work closely and
enjoy being able to openly discuss cases with each other. We are very much a group of team players and work together.

Our Services

We offer care seven days a week, providing preventative care, daytime emergency services, urgent care services, exotic and pocket pet medicine, surgical procedures, dental care, full diagnostics (lab on-site), digital radiology, acupuncture, laser therapy, and endoscopy.
