Pets: Sam Fisher (DSH), Juliet (Labrador mix), Romeo (Labrador mix)
Rescues have my heart. I have worked with rescued animals for about four years, fostering over 100 dogs. So it’s fitting that all my fur kids would be rescues.
Sam Fisher is a seven year old orange and white tabby. He was the first baby in the household. Abandoned by his family at six months old, I coaxed him out of hiding and he has been by my side ever since. He is very attached to me and does not do well if I am gone for long periods of time.
Juliet was adopted in Fort Hood, Texas at a local animal control facility at about six months old. She is now six years old and full of sass. She is a lab/corgi mix and oh so smart. She can sit, lay, shake, roll over, stick ‘em up, and play dead!
Romeo is the goof ball of the family, always rolling over and sticking his tongue out. He was adopted from an animal control facility in Columbus, Georgia where he was going to be euthanized after being surrendered. He is now almost five years old. He is a great dane/lab mix and does not realize his size. He eats anything and everything, from birthday cake, to steaks off the grills, to change in your pocket. He is the biggest baby and cuddle bug of them all.
I couldn’t imagine life without any of these sweet, loving, crazy fur babies.
