We provide a wide range of surgical services at Mt. McKinley Animal Hospital varying from spay and neuter surgeries to orthopedic and laparoscopic procedures. Prior to surgery, each pet is examined to detect any existing medical conditions that may endanger your pet's health. Diagnostic tests may be recommended in order to get a more complete picture of your pet's health before administering anesthesia. We utilize a variety of pain control medications before, during and after surgery to ensure that your pet is as comfortable as possible. If you have questions or concerns regarding anesthesia or surgery for your pet, please talk to one of our staff members. During surgery we use state-of-the-art monitoring equipment to ensure the health and safety of your pet. Parameters which may be measured include blood pressure, CO2 and blood oxygen concentration, temperature and ECG.
