A true northerner from birth I was raised in the Yukon Territory and educated at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. I have shared a home here in the Interior with my husband, Fred and several pets over the past thirty-three years. I have worked at Mt.McKinley Animal Hospital for thirty-two of those years. I enjoy the northern lifestyle and consider Fairbanks my home. Fred and I currently share our home with our Pembroke Welsh Corgi, “Rylee.”
Always raised with pets I spent my first twenty plus years in the Yukon Territory and know what it is like without the services of a veterinarian. I graduated from the University of Alaska with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Over the years I have experienced and seen many positive changes in the Fairbanks area as well as the veterinary profession. Working at Mt.McKinley Animal Hospital fulfills my need to make a living in a place I love and allows me to be part of a caring and knowledgeable professional team. People who care for pets are wonderful to work with.
